It is hard to discuss honey bees without talking about Varroa destructor. The Bee Squad has been tracking these mites through management of up to 500 urban, suburban and rural colonies across the Twin Cities in Minnesota. This talk with share updated data from this program as well as updates from the MiteCheck program, a national collaborative, beekeeper citizen science project.
